1968 Ford M-151A1 MUTT (former U.S. Army) and 1967 M-416A1 Cargo Utility Trailer (former U.S. Marine Corps.)

1968 Ford M-151A1 intact and uncut without ROPS that was last stationed and used at Fort Ord, CA prior to being retired from U.S. Army service. Has the original desert camouflage pattern paint it received during its use in U.S. Army service and retains its HQ5-Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV) markings that it had at Fort Ord from it's possible deployment during the Vietnam War. After retirement from U.S. Army service, this 1968 Ford M-151A1 was
utilized in some film and television series production appearances.

-Runs and drives well for its age and original condition. The tires (except for spare) are near new with whiskers.
-Engine starts, idles and runs as it should with a recent carburetor rebuild. Manifold has small air leak-needs new gasket.
-A brand new old stock manifold with a set of new gaskets to install are included.
-All lighting works except for the turn signals. Horn does not work. Windshield wipers work with hand lever (vacuum inop.)
-Underside of this M-151A1 has surface rust in places; edge of the underside of the battery compartment is rusted
through; underfloor board right-side channel piece is rotted which is common for the M-151 series. A complete new
old stock M-151 series underside kit made by AM General specifically for the M-151 series to replace this is included.
-Comes with the original canvas covered driver, passenger and rear bench seats.
-Has the rare original canvas side curtains along with vinyl soft doors and vinyl soft top.
-Original equipment Vietnam-era fixed radio set and speaker and two portable telephone hand-sets with canvas covers.
-Original whip antenna and raised mount (note: the cylindrical hard plastic portion of the base securing the bottom of
the antenna is broken-the two broken pieces from this base are included).

-A complete and rare new old stock AM General manufactured M-151 series heater Installation kit.
-Spare water pump.
-A used spare take-out M-151A1 differential.
-New M-151A1 specific carburetor rebuild kit.
-A heavy duty custom vinyl protective outdoor cover that covers the entire M-151A1 with its top up.

1967 M-416A1 cargo utility trailer. This is the rarer U.S. Marine Corps issue version of the M-416 utility cargo trailer
with special USMC specification front and back underside helicopter/hoist attachment points. This 1967 M-416A1
trailer was acquired when it was retired from USMC service at Camp Pendleton, CA. and has the original earlier A1
version taillights and electrical harness which still work. This trailer is unrestored and is intact as it was when it was
acquired with worn-out multiple layers of green and desert tan paint, USMC stenciling and surface rust, dings and
dents throughout the trailer. This trailer tows well and the parking brake and stanchion work. The tires on this trailer
are aged and have about twenty-percent tread.
